About
The Centre for Circular Economics and Applied Ethics was established on 1 February 2023 at the Faculty of Economics and Management. It acts as a think tank integrating experts interested in issues of sustainability and applied ethics in the broadest sense. The Centre provides a platform for the exchange of views in the above-mentioned areas and aims to promote the highest possible quality of research and education (formal and informal).
The Centre’s tasks include:
- to conduct high quality research in the field of broadly understood sustainable development and applied ethics;
- popularising knowledge and the results of research conducted at WEiZ;
- supporting the University’s teaching process in the field of sustainable development and applied ethics;
implementation of scientific and didactic projects, including participation in international projects; - Cooperation with the business environment in terms of providing expertise;
- Supporting Lazarski University in implementing activities related to CSR/ESG and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
