National Agency for Academic Exchange, Strategic Partnerships, BNI/PST/2023/1/00093.
The project ‘Caring for Tomorrow: Integrating the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in Higher Education’ is implemented by the Structural Projects Department together with the International Programmes Section and the Faculty of Economics and Management together with the Centre for Circular Economics and Applied Ethics (content supervision). The project partners are 2 foreign universities Georgian National University SEU and Reykjavik University.
The aim of the project is to prepare high quality teaching materials for self-study and teaching about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The project will create a course for self-study and will be available free of charge to all interested parties. There will be a textbook chapter for each objective, videos as well as case studies showing practical application examples. Each lesson will conclude with a knowledge test. In addition, as part of the project, the partner universities will prepare a sustainability assignment for education using the problem-based learning method. This task will be tested on students of Lazarski University and Georgian National University SEU. Once the feasibility of the task has been tested, it will be made available on the project website for use by educators and teachers.
